Pin to Kona Ep 10 Review

http://www.nfz-lublin.pl/?do-high-school-students-get-too-much-homework So here we are – the last episode of Pin to Kona (ぴんとこな). I admit, this series has not gone the way I thought it would and has lacked the charm that it could have had. The talent was there – we’ve seen so many of these actors and actresses getting better results in other series – but it was simply not put to use. Let’s find out if this drama can at least end make a solid landing.

go here While it wasn’t at all surprising that they saved the issue of Kyonosuke (Tamamori Yuta)’s father’s failing health for last, it also makes good sense in terms of the overall plot about Kyonosuke’s developing maturity and kabuki professionalism. Too bad that plot hasn’t gotten proper treatment along the way, but they try to fix that with a recap at the start of this episode.

Kyonosuke is exactly how you’d expect him to be after finding out about his father’s potentially fatal illness.

writing custom mib Ayame (Kawashima Umika) makes the stupidest attempt to reassure him possible – shouting “you’re not alone” because that’s what he said to her in the previous episode. The problem with that is, in her case it made sense because her problem was that she felt like she had to deal with everything on her own. In Kyonosuke’s case it makes no sense at all – his problem is that he might lose somebody who is in most ways more important to him than Ayame is. Different situation, and Ayame doesn’t seem to understand that her own presence at his side can’t counteract the loss he will feel if his father dies.

homework help with business communication writing Subtitles for this episode of Pin to Kona (ぴんとこな) and the next one just became available, so here I am with this review. I will continue to review the series as subs are released.

http://childrensmuseum.com/?p=dissertation-banksy We already know that Ayame (Kawashima Umika) has a talent for keeping Kyonosuke (Tamamori Yuta) from confessing by interrupting him and asking about Hiro/Ichiya (Nakayama Yuma). It’s a standard trope in these sorts of dramas, even though in real life it’s more natural to ask “what is it?” when someone is clearly hesitating about something. Seriously, though, the way Ayame interrupts him to ask about Hiro at the start of this episode makes her seem clueless beyond words.

enter It’s a cruel twist of fate that Kyonosuke is smitten by a girl who literally only has eyes for one guy. Kyonosuke might as well be a puppy, since she’s never going to take his shows of affection as anything to become romantically attached to.

And Shohei is not only making heavy demands in exchange for that debt, but he also seems to have some anger management issues.

custom my essay Kyonosuke despairs at being unable to confess, and the ever-helpful Shizu (Enami Kyoko) reassures him. With Kyonosuke looking so hapless and basically running in circles trying to impress Ayame, I think Shizu might be my favorite character in this series, with Kyonosuke’s father in second.

if you do your homework madonna Last time on Pin to Kona (ぴんとこな), Ichiya (Nakayama Yuma) had a complete breakdown, tears including, on stage in the middle of his big break. That . . . is a fail not even a newbie on stage would be capable of – Ichiya should have gotten his tears out well before he hit the stage, realizing the play’s significance to his own situation during practice. He might have even asked to be excused from the performance beforehand, forcing an understudy to act in his place. I find this weird incompetence that the writers have foisted on Ichiya disconcerting, though I guess the show of emotion might draw sympathy from some of the audience.

pay it forward theme essay Anyway, Ichiya ran off and they had to cancel the performance. In the real world, that would be enough to end his career except . . . except if he has a strong patron. Enter Yuna (Yoshikura Aoi), who wants to continue being that patron. She approaches Chiba Ayame (Kawashima Umika) at school and warns Ayame not to see Ichiya again.

Pin to Kona Ep 06 001Pin to Kona Ep 06 002

To her credit, Ayame at least understands the situation (finally!) and that she can’t press her own claim on Ichiya when he’s so dependent on Yuna. So, she says that she won’t see him again.

Pin to Kona Ep 06 003

But Ichiya is missing, and one reason Yuna approached Ayame was because she thought Ichiya had gone to Ayame after the performance. That doesn’t seem to be the case, and even Kyonosuke (Tamamori Yuta) is desperately trying to make contact with Ichiya. It’s actually quite sweet how worried Kyonosuke seems to be about Ichiya – perhaps this is a point from which the plot can make some more interesting developments?

Pin to Kona Ep 05 Review

Okay, so any hope I had that Pin to Kona (ぴんとこな) was something more than a love-square story with some kabuki off to the side is pretty much out the window. So, can they at least give some depth to the romance side of things?

In the last episode, Kyonosuke (Tamamori Yuta) tried his very best to win over Ayame (Kawashima Umika) but she (rather irritatingly at this point) remained steadfastly dedicated to Ichiya (Nakayama Yuma). Ichiya had temporarily lost his groove, but got it back thanks to a talk from Kanjiro (Yamamoto Koji).

Unable to really win Ayame’s favor, Kyonosuke at least wants to make sure Ichiya doesn’t hurt her.

Pin to Kona Ep 05 000

That’s going to be a bit hard, because Yuna (Yoshikura Aoi) is now actively plotting with Shohei (Matsumura Hokuto) to break up the Ichiya-Ayame pairing. Shohei’s first move is to tell Kyonosuke that Ichiya is dating Yuna at the same time he’s courting Ayame.

Pin to Kona Ep 04 Review

Posted on: August 21st, 2013 by tylerraiz No Comments

Before we even get to the meat of this episode of Pin to Kona (ぴんとこな), the narrated recap intro at the start of it felt surprisingly long – it took a whole minute – and I think it stated too much explicitly. Since we only saw a hint of the shaking of Ichiya (Nakayama Yuma)’s confidence in the previous episode, it would have been better if they had shown us more signs of it instead of just saying it bluntly. Again, show, don’t tell.

Pin to Kona Ep 04 000Pin to Kona Ep 04 001

Following that recap, we get Ichiya randomly kissing Ayame (Kawashima Umika) out of nowhere, much to her own shock. It seems totally out of character for the meticulously controlled Ichiya, too, and even he doesn’t know what he’s doing. Could a single performance have shaken him this much? Did he really think that he’d get to the top of the kabuki world without facing any competition? I don’t know how to take this sudden breakdown in his personality.

Pin to Kona Ep 04 002

Ayame takes it badly, and I can’t blame her.
